To be honest with you...I'm glad to just be settled down somewhere. After salvaging through my things after the fire (don't know if you know...I was a victim of an arson five months ago and lost about 70 percent of my things) and how long it took to get the things out that I could salvage...getting them cleaned and into storage...then moving them out...cleaning them again...and getting them into the apartment in a 4.5 month timespan...not to mention buying so many things (minus what my generous friends here so lovingly donated) and getting them moved here...I really don't care about painting. It would be nice and I have thought about what colors I'd like, but I'm exhausted and just happy to be living out on my own and rebuilding my life.

I have moved all over the country. I think I have moved a total of like 8 times. I learned well enough to stip off all those illusionary items and make a fresh start of life. Crap is there and it will always be there. It would seem, as soon as you settle in someplace the crap starts accumlating again. Maybe this is what it means, a rolling stone gathers no moss.

I know you don't feel "luck" at this time in your life, but maybe you are and you just can't see it.
