to when i was a little kid.
springtime would always find me puddling with the meltwater around the farm.
nothing was better than pulling on your rubber boots and mucking around by the drainage culvert
or making streams through the ice for a stick "boat" and watching to see how far it travelled.
the quicker, deeper or faster the water travelled the better.

so now as a homeowner here i am out mucking around by the storm drain and
chipping away at the ice making streams for the water to flow quicker faster and better.
my pantlegs are wet as i no longer own any of those big rubber boots
but i think i should go drop a stick and see how long it takes to make it to the drain

anyone else still play like a kid??

Smoking weed will bring all kinds of repressed memories from my childhood. It's actually the only good reason for me to keep doing that thing, because I want to remember more.
