I'm looking forward to being 40. It seems like the perfect age to me. Young enought to still, with luck, be physically capable and culturally in-touch. Old enough to have learned something about life (which I sure as fuck haven't. . . I'm twentysomething. . .life is still busy showing me all of the shit I was wrong about in my teens. . . 40!
