Yes I seen Sleepaway Camp, I have seen all movies listeded on this thread.

Sleepaway Camp! What an ending. It could have been done better through the movie, but that ending hits below the belt.

Watch a horror movie right there on my TV
Horror movie right there on my TV
Horror movie right there on my TV
Shockin' me right outa my brain

It's bound to get ya in
Get right under your skin
Hit you right on the chin - oh yeah
It's bound to be a thriller
It's bound to be a chiller
It's bound to be a killer - oh yeah

The planes are a-crashin
The cars are a-smashin
The cops are a-bashin - oh yeah
The kids are a-fightin
The fires are a-lightin
The dogs are a-bitin - oh yeah

You think it's just a movie on silver screen
And they're all actors and fake old scenes
Maybe you don't care who's gonna lose or win
Listen to this and I'll tell you somethin'

It's a horror movie right there on my TV
Horror movie right there on my TV
Horror movie and it's blown a fuse
Horror movie, it's the six-thirty news

The public's waitin
For the killin and the hatin
Switch on the station - oh yeah
They do a lotta sellin
Between the firin and the yellin
And you believe in what they're tellin - oh yeah

That Skyhook?

sure is Skyhooks!!! RIP Shirl Strahan pray

Yeah, 4 was the reason I mentioned the "nice moments". Unfortunately, it ends on a cliff-hanger that is continued into the dreadful 5 (which, in turn, continues into the laughable 6). I can't, in good conscience, recommend 4 because folks will then have to suffer through 5 & 6. With the first film, II and H20 you have a nice trilogy (and H20 wraps things up nicely, so you don't have to endure the dreadful Halloween: Resurrection, which is beyond awful).

I never did totally understand where they were going with 5 and 6. From what it seems, the guy with the marks on his hand was the real Michael Myers, so who the hell was the person pretending to be Michael Myers?? And Why?

I don't think anyone knows where they were going with all that. Somehow, it involved some sort of weird cult and what-not, and it somehow tied in with Myers being so invincible. Personally, I was glad they jettisoned all that for H20.

I was in Borders last night and they're selling a deluxe 3 DVD set of the Sleepaway Camp series. I almost picked it up, but I bought The Bird With The Crystal Plumage instead. Maybe next time, looked like a nice set.

That stairway scene wasn't in the original. It was in the rerelease that came out a few years ago. Not to be another one of those "the original was better" whiners, lol, but the original edit was better IMO. The rerelease, they did some minor edits to the storyline and a few scenes, which was fine, but they also tacked on some goofy special effects and gimicks that made it look silly. The ghost face only flashes on the screen once in the original, in the rerelease, they flash it several times to the point where it becomes silly. Also, the ending looks a bit corny with the fade of the shots with the priest becoming posessed.

I agree the original was a better edit, although I'd have liked to see this spider walk scene inthe original.

I guess William Friedkin felt it wouldn't work given that the scene already had the climax of news of Burt's death, and this would have clashed with it. But it would have been nice to see it somewhere. It's a freaky scene -- especially with no soundtrack.

Also on that scene, didn't she flip over and started chasing hermama through the house and a tongue looking like a lizard came out of her mouth!!!

I've seen Fulci's Zombie a long time ago, but I don't recall... Is this the same film with a beautiful Italian woman with a teen named Michael who still breast feeds? confuse

...Or am I thinking of something I saw on latenight Showtime? redface

I think the thing that scared me the most was that it was basically a toy coming to life and canibalizing people. I kept an eye on GI Joe after that. nod
