In the times you've felt lied to...

... has it turned out that you actually were? Or did it turn out to be just paranoia or exhaustion?

The annoying thing about my supposed "paranoia" is that it usually turns out to be true neutral I cant think of anything specific, but I guess I just have reallt good instincts for things like that, anytime Ive thought something was up Ive tured out to be right.

Doesnt make me any less paranoid... confused

oooooh this is ironic this topic has come up now... to be honest I've always felt "paranoid" about people close to me lying to me or not being open to me. I've learnt to curb that very much over the years but lately I've been learning to listen to my instincts again nod that's not to say I'm being paranoid again (although to a certain degree I am, I know) but I AM learning to see through the curtain so to speak and see who's REALLY there for me and who's just being "nice" which is not the easiest of things to see

the "nice" people I'm starting to weed out and are no longer a part of my life. I have made a vow to myself to only give my time for those who are truly, honestly there for me in thier hearts nod

Nah, the shit turns out to be true sigh I'm usually too trusting, too honest, too expecting of the same from other people. So it takes me a minute to smell people's bullshit sometimes - depends on who the lie is coming from...

I'm not totally gullible, but there are times when I wish I'd opened my eyes sooner, listened to my gut, realized that my own two feet are enough for me to stand on & walk the fuck away...

Yeah. In my case, I pray to the Lord for wisdom and listen to what His Spirit says. Last night was tricky. What I was told sounded reasonable, but I had this tug in my spirit... disbelief

Its extremly arbitrary, you can be wrong 10 times but then that one time,

Whammo!

It's not always a matter of being correct or not... there could be a grain of truth in something not obviously true.

If that makes any sense. I guess what I mean to say is, we can find truth in our emotions on a given subject, if we're willing to dig in and be honest.
