Why Are Some People So Damn Mean???

Just rude, making nasty comments without thinking. Gotta think that they must have something wrong in the noggin to make them that way. Or that their own personal lives are so fucked up that it makes them miserable, so they, in turn, want to make others miserable in order to make themselves feel better. Can't understand it, since I would not even think of treating somebody that way, but other people seem to get a sick sense of satisfaction from it. Some people need a slap in the face to wake them up and realize that that attitude is not the one to have. disbelief

question being...if someone is overtly rude to you..and it's continuous
how do you maintain the "ignore" attitude.. without going blalistic on them?

Why oh why does everybody think that this thread is about orgers when it's not? lol Okay, everybody repeat after me, "This thread is not about orgers...this thread is not about orgers...this thread is not about orgers".

Dunno how I maintain a pleasant attitude towards rude people, think it's because I'm just too damn nice. As everyone knows, being nice does not cut it in this world, because people just walk all over you. I want to change it, but I'm not sure how to go about doing that.

I suppose I do it because I'm unhappy with my own life. Or maybe I just don't care about others feelings. Or, maybe I'm just mean.

A lot of what I say is just a play on words, more of a joke.

It's just so scathing, it hurts the person I've directed it at.

i'm finally realizing that although we'd like to believe that turning the other cheek, being supportive and forgiving of our friends and enemies alike, this philosophy isn't effective.

because on SOME people kindness doesn't work. brute force does. neutral

Old people in the church do it all the time, cause they expect to get away with it. I don't know why everybody's overly nice to them. unless they have mental illness, they're just assholes who didn't die. What makes that so special and beyond reproach? All it takes is one slip and bye bye hip.

I tend to think there's very little distance between right and wrong. Maybe even none. we're only bacteria and something else will come. I know my thoughts verge from axe to marshmallow in an instant, but I'm not quite sure anything exists before the action and odd things happen at an atomic level. It's obvious forgiveness is the answer. Jesus was just a scientist.

You back? I thought you had a life, dancing, talking, laughing, etc. These are the things I can see you doing. smile Me? My left eye's really sore and I'm concerned it's a malignant tumour pressing against it. That's why i'm here. Well, me and Jack, but that's nothing to boast about.
