I'm actually off work today with an eye problem. Everytime my heart beats faster over the past couple of days, my left eye thumps painfully and it lasts for hours. I'm thinking I've got an infection from wearing contact lenses for 18 hours a day. I hope it's not serious. neutral

wearing contacts is what caused my ulcer. Some people are able to wear contacts for days without changing them. The ones I used to wear would be worn for a week, then cleansed and worn for another week before throwing them out. I'd definitely get it checked out though ,and switch to glasses for a while until you're healed.

ok

lol I've seen pics. of other ulcers and mine is nowhere near as bad as the ones I've seen. I guess because I didn't go an extremely long time before doing something about. Some eye infections/ulcers just look fuckin' nasty. ill

The doc should be able to give you numbing drops for the pain.Maybe an eye shield for at night so you don't rub it. The Cipro should help within a few days. Hope you feel better soon. rose

aw, thanks hug So far, my eye is still in pain. I could barely make it through my class this morning, and I'm really not sure if I should be around others with an eye infection like this.....some are very contagious. The doc. didn't say anything about it being contagious though.
