Why do you use the avatar you use?

It's the computer HAL 2000 from the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. I chose it mostly because it's clean and stylish and works with my username. I also like the movie it's taken from.

How often do you change it?

I've never changed it so far. It's annoying when people change avatars too often since I use the avatars to quickly spot certain posters.

i don't think i'll ever change it. i'm afraid to. though byron did do some new photoshop magic for me. but i don't want to change it b/c i've lost the original. (when my computer crashed) byron said he still had a copy and would send it to me, but he hasn't yet.

though maybe i should change it. everyone says i look like a 19yr old in that pic.
