Not if you have the right size, or even better, specially made to your own feet wooden shoes. You have to get used to them a little, but you have to get used to new leather shoes aswell. The easy thing is, you won't hurt your toes when you bump into something hard, you can jump on a spade when the ground is hard or roots are in the way.
