I think I'm done with 24! It was bound to happen. I felt pings of it last season after Behrooz walked across that Bridge never to be seen again.
Now here we are Season 5. Palmer is dead, Michelle is dead. Tony is a vegetable lasagna. WHat was that original plot to implacate a dead Jack about again? And where is that guy that was giving orginal instructions in the beginning? And do we have 19 episodes to get through..one for each canister saved by Jack? See? And I hate this administration! Palmer would NEVER have made the awful decisions that have been made. DOn't know whether to kill a mall full of innocent people...call the president he can make a sound and rational decision . Thank God for Audrey....the only voice of reason. WHere's the CTU banter? What everyone's desk/supercomputer station is in the conference room? No subplots what so ever. At least last year we had 8 episodes of the Mom/Son plot. I've been asked to suspend reality...but I can only go so far. WHen he saved the little girl in the mall I almost screamed after I vomited in my mouth a little. I'll end this rant with the last word of the show last night....DAMNIT! Christian Zombie Vampires

i wish they'd announce on commercials when it's going to be a lame episode.
"if you only see one episode of 24 this season...this doesn't need to be it." is that so much to ask?

I thought of all of you when he said those famous last words! Plus, I was thinking about the Palmer thing too. If he were in office this wouldn't even be an issue!

I kept going to my puter and surf online. My partner had to keep telling me it was back on. Christian Zombie Vampires

I gave Season 1 a try a while back. I thought I'd like it, and I gave it a fair shot, but when dude's wife got thrown out of a car or something and lost her memory (if that's what happened...it's been a while) it was just too silly.
It may be that because of its real-time format that it's just not so great watching several episodes in a row on dvd. Should I give it another try?

That part was forgivable because they quickly moved on and changed gears. That season ended great. Season 2 was also intriguing as Was Season 3. Each had their "I can't believe that just happened moments" but still gripping stoyline. And good villin/esses. FOr me last season (which had hardly any palmer) was where things started to go bad. There was a new world terror plot every 5 episodes and the best sub-story line they had disappeared mid season. It was madness. Christian Zombie Vampires

Moderator | I didn't watch it the last 2 weeks...so I guess I gave up on it too. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

ditto...I saw all the other seasons on DVD...but I agree with the thread starter...plot and sub-plot is lacking. And when only 11 people died at the mall...WTF!!!...WHERE R THE DISASTERS!!!!!
