I gave up all soda on Jan 1...

But, after a lifetime of drinking the stuff, I find myself
sneaking a sip (especially on weekends)

BTW, I've dropped 21 lbs since the new year.

I've made the promise to myself not to buy it for my fridge, but I will drink it if served elsewhere, so I still have a little now and then

they have just brought diet dr pepper cherry vanilla
(hell of a mouthfull btw...) to canada so i am infatuated
but also am in love with coca cola zero!! it puts all other diet sodas to shame!!

Your addicted to the artificial sweeteners that they dump into those soda's. If you want to make your self quit drinking them- just read about the sweeteners.

I do treat myself to a soda occassionally but never diet.
I have heard way too many people talk about being "addicted" to diet soda's.
If you do some research on the artificial sweeteners- you'll find out why.

I used to get bad headaches and I used artificial sweeteners in my tea, my husband brought home an article from that the guy at the health food store gave him about aspartame.
After reading the article I stopped using the stuff and those kinds of headaches have gone away.
I will try to search for some info to post when I get more time.

I don't like any diet drinks ,i drink Coke or Pepsi ..but not too often. I love Cherry Coke ,but we don't get it here anymore..that Vanilla Coke was disgusting.

I drink diet coke just because I don't like the sugary taste.....except whenever I mix it with rum, bourbon or whiskey.
