Associates of Arts in Graphic Design and just finishing paying that off after 10 years.
Currently working on Liberal Arts Associates Degree in Music Performance and paying for it as I go. Going to need more loans when I take the Liberal Arts degree to Wayne State University. Where can I go to school for free? I've always heard an urban legend that after you've lived in California for a year, school is free. Anyone else ever heard of this?

I went to grad school at SF State and it was cheap! $798 per semester, I think, which got waived because year after year (it took me 7 years to get out ) I qualified for a scholarship. Still killed myself with student loans though, to pay for my movies. I think the prices have gone up since then, but yeah, it's an unbeatable deal.

Slave2daGroove--before you pack up and move to Cali, make sure you find out if you have to be a California resident to qualify for those tuition rates. It's like that in a lot of states--if you are a resident (which you become after living there x amount of time) and go to a state university the tuition is thousands of dollars less/semester than those who attend from out of state. (I know Iowa, Illinois, & Maryland also have this...) The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I know a couple sanitation dept workers that have BAs A lot of people can't use their degrees for one reason or another.Or they've been downsized out of their jobs. I went through one year of university (Vrije Universiteit Brussel), doing Computer Science. Needed less math and more programming, so I lost interest.
Now I have a bachelor degree of applied computer science ("Toegepaste Informatica") at the Karel de Grote Hogeschool, and I have the job that I've always wanted (for about two years now).

I've got a BA in Philosophy from the University of Washington.
Next fall I'm going to start premed classes, and hopefully in a couple of years I'll be studying for my MD at UW. I'm excited, but the idea of being a full-time student again is daunting. I've decided not to try to work during this process, which will be a first for me, and the idea of living off of loans makes me sick to my stomach. But I think it's the best decision in the long run, and my loved ones are backing me up on this. Seattle Org Invasion July 28th-30th http://www.prince.org/msg/2/177514
