My friend had a Bulldog, and it was the most adorable thing ever. It had a great personality, and was very playful and friendly. The only drawback was that it seemed to slobber alot.

Have you visited your local pound? There's some fantastic dogs down there that would be very grateful to find a home.

I think if you just go to the place that sells the dogs (are they called "kennels" or something?) you'll find a dog that you connect with. I remember when I first met my second bunny. I had no idea what I wanted the bunny to look like or what size it should be etc, but when I saw this particular one it was love at first sight. She came hopping up to me and seemed curious and lively and affectionate and harmonious. Just wonderful. mushy

I went to the RSPCA to get a cat - I thought I'd get a nice longhair tabby, but when I went in there all the cats ignored me except one. So this one was a tortoiseshell and white semi-longhair and quite cute, but she was SO friendly and followed me around and I could not leave without her. Maja. She was the best cat I ever had, so affectionate sigh
