If the "Boondocks" wasn't so amazing, I would say that "Adult Swim" should be put out of it's misery. It used to be great, packed with entertainingly odd cartoons for teenagers and adults. But now...It seems like everything is sort of a sad clone of "Aqua Teen Hunger Force" (sadly, from the same people that. I'll give you "Harvey Birdman". I would say that "Birdman", "AFHF" and "Sealab" are all great short cartoon series (I would even have mercy and add the short lived "Bark Show" and I get a chuckle out of "Tom Meets the Mayor". But "12 oz. Mouse"...and then there is this other show that makes even less sense than that...not sure what's it's called).

And the biggest thing I don't get...Every Sunday Night (Sunday night being the only one where they show non-anime shows and only comedies), they play this really twisted cartoon caled "Ranger Smith", which is a crazy updated "Yogi Bear"...It looks like it's from the makers of "Ren And Stimpy"....It might be a decent show....but they only show the same episode....Did I miss the memo on this? Any fans here think that "Adult Swim" is on a losing streak lately?

I never understood what this channel was about. I have it as part of my cable package, but everytime I look to see whats on it, it's some strange stuff. Then when I look over the schedule of upcoming shows, I don't recognize anything on there.

The Adult Swim programming was/is meant to capture the late teen/early twenties (maybe even thirties) crowd that likes "adult" cartoons like "The Simpsons" and "South Park". Not sure about the anime but since they play quite a bit of it, it must have it's audience. I'm sure it draws more of an audience that they did by replaying their daily cartoons at night.

Squibillies has its moments but I think it got the hook quick....I LOVE Stroker and Hoop that shit is hillarious....I think once the new Venture Brothers comes on then it will pick up...And some new Birdman stuff. ATHF is still decent...not as funny (unless they do something with boxy brown in it I start rolling) But now that they kinda blew up they can't throw caution to the wind anymore when they make these...
