Happiness can lead to success as much as if not more so than success can lead to happiness!
According to new research conducted by the American Psychological Association. Happy people > positive moods > more likely to work actively towards new goals and build new resources. Cheerful job applicants more likely to secure interviews and be evaluated positively. Happy people less likely to experience job burn-out and are more likely to have jobs with autonomy, variety and meaning. smile!

Thanks. On a serious note, tho, I completely agree with your original post... ...success is 95% mental. The right mindset leads you to the desired goal sooooo many times. Waiting for success to arrive before you can feel "happy" is backwards...

Waiting for success to arrive before you can feel "happy" is backwards... I bet everyone knows a person who seems very lucky and good things happen to them all the time? I betcha they are one of those cheerful folks. Conversely I know people that are disaster magnets who just never get their act together and yes! they are miserable types!

Conversely I know people that are disaster magnets who just never get their act together and yes! they are miserable types! ...My brother in law (or ex-brother in law, I should say) was the type who was miserable and kept saying that people either just "got lucky" into success or had connections and didn't have to work for it...I told him the old-yet-so-true saying of "Luck is preparation meeting opportunity"...he didn't buy it. ...positive energy and karma attracts so much towards you. I try to remember that as much as I can whenever saying or doing something...Your mindset and emotional state dictate so much...I always try to tell people I know that never, EVER think that things are beyond your control...no matter how difficult Life seems to be treating you from one moment to the next.
