no, i'm totally serious--i'll be on the phone at work or i'll be at home talking to some telemarketing bastid or whoever and they'll be like "well, sir" and i gotta correct 'em: "i'm a ma'am, sucka!!!"

lol

Don't even trip. My best friend Joy always gets that but when you talk to her in person, she doesn't sound like a man. My other friend Omar, who is far far from being feminine always gets Miss. Again, he does not sound anything like a woman.

SynthiaRose - Now there's a bedroom voice for you! She speaks softly but with a lot of confidence. She could probably say "you're pathetic" and make it sound like the sweetest caress if she wanted to. She doesn't laugh easily though. You have to work pretty hard for it.

lol Actually, this is eerily close to the truth. So much so that if you were in the states, I'd think you knew me! eek

I do have a soft, soprano voice that I've always tried to give depth and edge to all my life -- especially when teaching, so that kids would feel intimidated. razz -- BUT that whispery rasp DOES actually work in the bedroom

And yes, I've been complimented for telling peple off in such a sweet way that they don't realize they've been hit.

As for laughter ...yes, if I'm not familiar with you or don't like you, you'll NEVER get me to laugh. But if I've warmed to someone, I laugh all the time.

Funny!! You should go into psycho-analogy. You got all that just from reading my posts?! Weird.

I can't even begin to wonder what you sound like. wink thumbs up!

I'm happy to read that I haven't entirely lost my eye for people. smile

You're an intriguing woman Ms Rose, and if your overall personality is anything like how I've envisioned it then it would be interesting to make your acquaintance at some point. wink

Kind of like Daffy Duck after a long night of clubbing in the company of Jack Daniels and Jim Beam. At least that's how I sound in the mornings. nod

You remind me of one of those psychics on TV or something. Not saying it as an insult, but just as an observation. smile

What I imagined (before reading this thread):

NPP: Hearty and full of life
Charlottegelin: Heavy Aussie accent, deeper than expected
Jersey: Cookie Monster with a Joisey axe-cent
Sammi: Healthy and confident, slightly higher than you'd expect
Redfeathers: An accent of some sort or another..lol...flirty in tone
2the9s: Fast, slightly nasaly, full of one-liners

i do have a highish voice pout
i dont like hearing my voice on play back cuz i sound like a 10 year old nasaly nerd sad when i hear myself as i speak, it sounds low and sensual...
neutral guess i have to try harder to turn people on lol

You mean the ones that go "I think we have a....man in the audience somwhere...we do? Okay. I sense that his name is....John. We have a John there in the second row? Great. Okay John, I can feel that you have certain dreams and ambitions in your life, is that correct? Okay, so do these dreams have something to do with achievement or success in any way, maybe happiness or fulfillment? Well there you go. I definitely have a connection here!"

Thanks. touched

In case anybody is wondering how I talk, I tend to talk very fast and runallmywordstogetherlikethis. It's a bad habit I got into that I can't seem to break, because when I try to talk slower, somebody interrupts me, and I hate that! lol Honestly, I hate the sound of my voice. boxed

It's funny: I've met Byron and while I love his voice, it did not sound like I expected it to. Even when I read his posts now, I read it in my ideal Byron voice. lol
