Orga Karlatos, Prince's mom in Purple Rain was in Zombie?! I'm a fan of horror movies from the 80s & I just read that the actress Orga Karlatos who played Prince's mom in Purple Rain was also in another favorite movie of mine Zombie. She's in that famous scene in the movie where she tries to hide in the closet I think,but a Zombie punches through the flimsy wooden door, grabs her by the hair, & has her eye impaled by a splinter in the process.She's later shown being eaten by a bunch of zombies shown here:
