so, my apartment complex's manager i really liked she was pretty cool, down to earth, and really fun..... she got fired for having pot in her system a few months back.

the maintenance guys, i like them both nice guys - funny, reliable, just some really good guys to know. one got fired for having pot in his system on monday.


so, my girlfriend comes over, nice girl she asks me if i wanna smoke some before the kids get home folks who know me know i dont smoke


my neighbor wants to know when im gonna come down and get high with her....




wtf ????? at 35 years old, im thinking its time for me to be not getting high in the middle of the damn day with my babies comming home for me to take care of. but shit, everyone around me is smoking if feel like an apple in a world fulla oranges

What if there was an emergency or something, you would want to handle a situation in a straight mind?

You are doing the right thing not to smoke. Your neighbour might rat on you and you might end up losing those babies you love, not worth it.

I mean, can't you wait until they are tucked in bed, safe and secure
Then have your time to do what you wish.

Exactly!.. I doubt anybody would be proved a neglectful parent over a few hits off of a joint. But, the children do deserve to come home to a sober parent.

I will still never forget my hubby's fumb ass (former) brother-in-law smoking pot in the basement and blowing it into the air duct so it wouldn't stink up the house...except the duct lead to the kids' rooms DUMB ASS!

you never know when an emergency could happen, as parents we have seen situations come up even while the babies are in their beds resting comfortably. there just never seems to be the right time to be 'outside my mind' when i know these little ones depend on me to be a solid force everyday of their life.

never gonna believe this, but when i went out to fold the laundry, ER was on one of my favorite ones. you remember the one where dr doug ross saved the lil boy that was in the storm drain tunnel ???

well when i walked out there - doug was in the car, his car had a flat - it was right before the brother of the boy came screaming for help.. you know what doug was doing ?????


he was sitting in the car with a JOINT pondering whether or not to get high. damn good thing he didnt, the boy needed him to get his brother out of that tunnel before he drowned.


funny how i would be talking about something like this and then walk into such a powerful episode.
