I can't wait for the school holidays to be over!

It will be such a relief. I don't think I will cry on my eldest kid's first day of school, he is looking forwards to it so much, me even more so sigh 6 weeks is TOO long to hang around at home, especially with my car being out of action for most of it mad

I have had 5 years of them at home, I have had ENOUGH!!! One at a time might have been easier to cope with, pre-school age. After they keep me awake at night, the next day I am too tired to be any fun for them, they need a bit of stimulation from someone with some energy.

so charlotte... can you explain how this works?? that was your summer break, right?
so when does the school year go until? and do you have a winter break??
for instance, the kids here would just be going back now after a 2 1/2 week christmas break.
doveShe couldn't stop crying 'cause she knew he was gone to stay dove

school year starts Jan/Feb and ends Dec. There are 3 x 2 week holidays spaced throughout the year between terms as well, Easter is included in the first one.
