It will be such a relief. I don't think I will cry on my eldest kid's first day of school, he is looking forwards to it so much, me even more so 6 weeks is TOO long to hang around at home, especially with my car being out of action for most of it

oh for the preschool daze

I have had 5 years of them at home, I have had ENOUGH!!! One at a time might have been easier to cope with, pre-school age. After they keep me awake at night, the next day I am too tired to be any fun for them, they need a bit of stimulation from someone with some energy.

so when does the school year go until? and do you have a winter break??
for instance, the kids here would just be going back now after a 2 1/2 week christmas break.

Have you thought about putting them in a school holiday program?

school year starts Jan/Feb and ends Dec. There are 3 x 2 week holidays spaced throughout the year between terms as well, Easter is included in the first one.
