It becomes apparent when you visit with a friend you haven't talked to in a long time.

Oh goodness this is so true for me... when i was in michigan a few months back i spent some time with a friend i dont see often ...and most them time i was with her i was thinking how strange it was... different and drifted, apart i wasnt comfortable beingme... or speaking my truths...i just smiled and listened mostly and was left with that WTF feeling ...

I can't see it. But the other day I saw my best friend whom I haven't seen since we graduated (5 years ago) and he said I look different and asked if I had plastic surgery...
Then my other best friend who just came home from San Diego for 4 years told me that I "look different". I guess I was supposed to stay the same gooky lookin person they graduated with. And no I haven't had any plastic surgery. Shit, I wish I had plastic surgery money. One of Dansa's org hornies

what i think is weird is looking back in your life and tracing everything you have and where you are now from one decision you made, then thinking how different your life would be if you made a different decision. everything about my life i can trace back to a decision i made about which job to take when i was 19. EVERYTHING. i wouldn't be where i am or have my daughter if i had chosen the other job. sometimes i wonder what i would be doing. i would have avoided a lot of hurt if i had made a different choice. but i wouldn't change a single thing about it, because if i did things differently i wouldn't have my daughter i wouldn't have met a very special person.

You are so correct my friend! it really is almost scary though, to think about what would have happened if i'd taken that other job.
