I really do.

I don't particularly enjoy tactlessness and I hate rudeness but I do like people who are truthful, whether it's what I want to hear or not.

I think being honest is an admirable trate and it always will work in your favour I find. I had to be honest today about my living situation. Basically I don't like where I am living at the moment and I've spoken to one of my housemates about it. I think it may result in me looking for somewhere else to live. I feel better for having done it because the situation will have eaten away at me. To some extent, I've found this has happened when I haven't necessarily been honest. It's not rudeness and people do really appreciate I find.

Honest people are just lazy. I sould know, because I am one that is looking to defend "tactfulness" and "approprateness" a.k.a. rudeness.

The truth about honesty is that it is just easier then keeping track of a cardhouse of lies.

Actually this is a over simplification of the subject mater.

GOLDEN RULE: do unto others as you would have them do to you.

I just think the world would run more efficently if we all told the truth in as few words as could be used to do so.

However, truth tellers also need to be more anil about choice of perceptions.

I've made the mistake of opening my big, fat mouth and have regretted it. It's a very sucky feeling. In fact, it makes you add another proverbial layer to whatever it is you tend to hind behind. I suppose it makes you tougher, but it definitely makes you think about what you'd say differently next time. That is why I recommend plants.

Get yourself a jade plant or philodendron or fern. Practice your honesty by revealing yourself slowly to the houseplant. Don't shock it by telling all of your deep down, dirty secrets right away. For instance, you might tell it a trivial comment like, "Yes, that pot does make your butt look bigger." Look for reactionary signs, such as a leaf falling off or a small tremor in the stalk. I've gotten so good at this, I now have about a dozen or so plants I am now completely honest with. The best part is, they won't abandon or ignore you!
