he is so incredibly sweet.

he kidnapped me saturday morning and i spent almost all of the holiday weekend with him, and he refused to let me pay for anything. we went and saw "brokeback mountain" which was lovely, and he held my hand the whole time. when the movie moved me to tears, he put his arm around me and held me close.

he was asking me at one point if i ever got married if i would invite my father's side of the family, asking about meeting my mother, ect.

he's like heaven.

AND-

he grew up in an apartment on the Lower East Side that he still lives in, which is rent controlled. rent controlled has not existed since the 70s, and was replace with rent stabalized, and his parents were in this apartment since the 50s, and the rent on it is only 118 dollars.

one hundred and eighteen dollars a month for the love of god!!

which is amazing, especially since there are only probably 20 rent controlled apartments left in all of manhattan at this point. this apartment would probably go for 2000 dollars a month if he or one of his family members hadn't been there since the 50s.
