Ok I need to pierce another part of my body....should I go for the nose, tongue, eyebrow...or what? I am thinking nose, but I can not decide. The good thing is my roommate is a body piercer...so I am getting the hookup...

I actually get really grosed out at piercings unless they're ears and nose.

eyebrows look neat, but they always seem so unclean to me.

Tongue. Your mouth is dirty enough without needing a hole in the middle of it.

clit. genitals should be off limits


belly. Seen too many infections.

I say the toung.

It gives you something to play with inside your mouth and this keeps you from eating. It promotes the circulation of body fluids and this keeps you healthy. It gives you a little something extra to do when you are doing something sexually with your mouth.

Nose: You've got various choices here, both in terms of placement (nostril or septum?) and jewelry. If your employer is okay with it, I think a small nostril stud would look best on you. (If they do not approve, you do have the option of a septum piercing, which can be hidden.)

Eyebrow: No. They usually migrate out after a few years and can leave an ugly scar.

Tongue: If you do this, get acrylic beads on the end of the barbell. You want something that will break before your teeth do. I'm missing a small piece of a molar because I chomped down on a metal bead while eating lunch one day in college. It's too bad... my tongue piercing was done by Jon Cobb, one of the most famous body piercers ever. (The hole is actually still there, albeit very small... I can easily put a sewing needle through it.)

As for some other possibilities....

The labret has already been mentioned. Looks cool, but I wonder what scar/hole it leaves in the middle of your chin if you decide to remove the jewelry.

There are all sorts of interesting ear piercings that can be done (e.g., rook or tragus).

Nipples could look very nice, although most people will never see them. However, jewelry that's barely noticeable through your shirt can be intriguing.

Happy piercing! I think your roommate's studio is the best place in the city to get poked.

In your ear, not in your earlobe but in the tiny part right above it that sticks out. It can be really beautiful.
