I have an Mp3 player. I don't use it much.
I thought it would be cool to get a pocket PC a couple of years back. They play video too. All mine seems to do is collect dust. If you need a dust colletor in your home, go for it! News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so. You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Mine does not play video but I have a dock base at my desk at work, one at home and one in my car so I can tell you I find it very useful. It's charging while you're listening so it's always ready when you walk out.
I've had it for 2 years and I'm still happy .

wonder if its possible for Apple to start updating iTunes without making us download a 20 or 30 meg program to redownload.. why can't they make that program to have variable updates that compliment the program to their current status.. kindof like virus protection programs work
I dunno, its just a thought.. i dont like downloading that thing over and over whenever a new version comes out..

Something to consider about the Ipod video.
its bad enough people know to mug you for your Ipod when they see the white speakers in your ears but now they want you to walk around watching videos all day and let everyone see what you have. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

Anyway, I think I've blown out the white headphones that came with mine. I might look into Shure's line of earbud headphones for a replacement... the guy sitting next to me on a recent flight had many good things to say about them. Look at my previous link http://www.dension.com/icelink.htm I got mine 18 months ago for 180 Euros. And that's because I wanted to keep the Stereo that cane with the car. They said there were stereos that needed one piece less so it was even cheaper. Believe me, it's worth it. It sounds like a CD player only with 10000 songs to choose from The installation took about half an hour. It looks great: you can have it backlit as it's plugged and keeps charging while in the car so it's always charged when you need it and you handle it from your player knobs. Only thing (I don't know if they have solved this yet) is you can't use a CD changer. But who needs it?

I don't know much about it other than being a fm transmitter.. i need details cause I like the convenience of just cutting a station on and listening... gimme yur review on it. The iTrip's transmitter seemed to lack enough power to produce acceptable sound quality. Maybe the problem was specific to the car I was driving (a rental Chevrolet Cavalier or similar "Detroit junk" car), but unless I put the iPod and iTrip in the cupholder right by the radio, the sound would cut in and out. And even when I found that the cupholder placement worked best, I still thought the sound quality was poor. I've gotten much better sound by patching audio devices into a car's tape deck via those cassette adapters. I understand that there are limits to how much power devices like the iTrip are allowed to produce -- after all, it is an unlicensed mini FM radio transmitter -- but I expected better. Fortunately, I was just borrowing the iTrip from a friend for the day during a roadtrip to Canada. IMHO, the best way to listen to one's iPod in the car is to install a new head unit with a stereo 1/8" line-in jack on the front. (I did this with an old 1987 BMW 325 that I made some improvements to.) Then you can use a simple patch cord that's available at any RadioShack. I don't know why most car manufacturers don't include a line-in jack as a standard feature -- I've seen it only on Nissan Sentras that I've rented.
