I appreciate so much everyone's thoughts and gestures on this thread and those of you who have sent me Orgnotes. I was quite overwhelmed when Llee showed me what she did and I don't know how to respond.

If you can't get the page to work, don't sweat it! Like I said above, I accept orgnotes with woot emoticons too.

The same thing happened to me. If you can, try using "new address" and copy and paste 9s info in there. That worked for me.

I had a problem but managed to get through it too because I already had an account with Amazon.

Instead of shipping to 9s I put in my own addresss, then at the next screen I chose the "Enter New Address" option at the top and entered 9s address (I had to put in my own phone no). Then it took me to another screen and prompted me to select their "Suggested Address" which was his original one.

It all went through ok after that.

I think I understand where you're coming from lovemachine but at first glance I did object to your post. Friends usually do give gifts to one another and I don't want to feel "uncharitable" for doing so, or for 9s to feel bad for accepting any gifts we want to give. I think most of us here are able to both give to charity and to celebrate friendships here and in our real life in the ways that we each see fit

I got a response from Amazon which wasn't helpful at all and didn't address the specific issue I raised with them, so I emailed them again. Hopefully this time they will resolve the problem or at least provide some helpful feedback which i will pass on.
