In the context of socialization of mankind into a global society, what can be achieved through peoples’ unity of communication with one another, and how do you perceive such steps to be achieved?

More and more we seem to be separatists in our social cages, what can be the key to unlock our walls and make us all willing to come out of our caves?

Do you think the masks we ware are healthy and useful to the communication process?

How is any one of use to truly get to know another if we are all unwilling to strip our souls and walk naked into the group unafraid of psychological attack?

But can we even really communicate when we must first translate our feelings & ideas into these crude words, which are then translated back into feelings & ideas by those that hear them?

The masks that we wear are unavoidable until we can communicate telepathically, and I know I don't want anyone to read my mind!

But I do think it would help if folks could be ruder, louder, and more obnoxious.

I like the phrasing of this question. It is one that my mind loves to tangle with. We have to assume there is some answer that can be put on the table to make sure we can truly understand one another, or maybe we should just assume that communication was a tool that helped us survive thousands of years but only at the base level of existance.

Some people will reject all this based on the Tower of Babel. Knowledge and communication are scary to some people.

No, but we all wear them to a certain extent; that is the way we are socialized, unfortunately. I do my best to try and remind people that these masks are counterproductive and keep my own off as much as possible.
