I know a few people who do. Why?
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

i think everyone's a little bit OCD and that it's something that runs on a spectrum of behaviors, origins and severity.

I just wash my hands a lot.....but that's only when I'm in the kitchen and I'm trying to fix my food and I keep accidently touching other things that other people have touched. Mind you I live with people who aren't the cleanest at times, so imagine having to fix a sandwich while trying to avoid touching the refrigerator handle, miracle whip jar, mustard, etc.....it's pretty much impossible so I just give in and accept the fact that I have their germs on my sandwich. Not that there's anything wrong with them.....it's me for the most part, since I'm a germaphobe.

No! I just like CLEANLINESS and ORDER,but I am NOT OVERLY OBSESSED. Plus I like NEW Things Untouched so I can be the First. But I am Not Crazy about it. I do like to take Showers and Baths since I hate to Smell or feel Sticky. I don't go Crazy with RITUALS or COUNTING things. I just Hate Filthy POLLUTION. I wish People wouldn't LITTER SO MUCH. People Don't Realize how they FUCK UP THE ECOSPHERE. They are RUINING the OZONE and the ENVIRONMENT for FISH and BIRDS and PEOPLE. So much POLLUTION....

Everyone "has" OCD a little. It is the trick not to let it get big.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

I work with a guy with major OCD. There's a lady who's office is next to mine. On days when she is not even scheduled to work, he will come over and see her door is closed, then ask me if she's here when we all know she's not, then he will tug on her door handle to see if it opens. He has even said goodbye to her in passing, then like 15 minutes later come to her office door and done this routine with me.
