HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I GOT 2 TELL ALL U [Name calling snip - luv4u], THAT I AM BRITISH BORN AND BRED, BUT I HAVE LIVED FOR MANY YEARS IN THE USA!!! ITS JUST THAT I HAVE DISOWNED MY COUNTRY AND PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE 2 THE USA!!!!

number one... DON'T SHOUT AT ME! number two... if you've pledged alliegence to the US why the hell did you come back? number three... DO NOT EVER call me a [snip - luv4u] again

on second thoughts... why am I even bothering? rolleyes

Leave it there, Gold319. If you want to make your point, do so, but not by throwing insults. Especially at Natisse. no no no!

I notice you didn't reply to her, by the way.

On another thread recently I commented on how horrible some people's replies are to you so I'm by no means condoning anything. But WHY do you continue to keep posting negative comments on the Org? For whose benefit is it? Your's or our's? I think you have every right to post whatever you want to - including slagging off the UK - but surely you can't expect people to take it lightly?

If people were queueing up to defend your comments I'd see the logic. But they're not. So, again - for whose benefit is this?

It might be time to change tack, love. Or at least put these feelings into writing via your local MP.

Cos no-one on a Prince fansite is gonna do anything other than rolleyes each and every time. And we've all got OUR OWN LIVES and OUR OWN PROBLEMS to think about.

I realise I've wasted a few minutes of my life writing this but please, please change the record. Or don't be so shocked when others get so mad with you. Or maybe you just like it that way. shrug

Now - since this is a Prince fansite, why not go and explore the other forums and tell us why you love the little man so? Go and have that + sign today.

kiss2 hug ...thank you hon

Gold... I apologise for being so quick to retaliate it's not usually who I am. I don't agree with what you're saying but that's no reason for me to pass judgement so quickly and for that I'm sorry

I've been very hot-tempered the last couple of days and it's not good redface

ANYtime! hug

But I wouldn't worry, hun. What you said is mild in comparison to comments I've read here previously.

Just it's six of one and half a dozen of the other. I don't like the nastiness but you can't not expect it if you keep poking people in the eye.

Unless you like 'victim' status.

Then not 2 mention that over here in the UK, Christmas starts here in October and doesnt end untill around April/May the following year, so thats a lot of wasted time(which the UK is expert at doing) of unemployment, not 2 mention loss in industry and manufactoring time!!!! No wonder nothing ever gets done here and things like construction projects are ALWAYS behind schedule!!!!!

Most people get less than a week off work for Christmas, I dont know where you got October till May from. It never ceases to amaze me how pull stuff out of your ass and try to pass it off as fact.

So hows daytime T.V lately?

gee i just hate Britain. it's so cold and damp, the taxes are so high, there are drunks in the streets pissing and pooing all over the place. only 5 tv channels....sometimes even the fifth one doesn't even work.

not to mention that Tony Blair...i wouldn't trust him as far as i could throw him. and that Queen! what the heck is that all about? will someone tell her to get a real job and stop prancing around like a grumpy old hag.

gee...Britain.... who needs it?

i think its a good idea. It cant get any worse, and a night out in gt yarmouth, can be pretty dodgy.

If anything, pissheads will control their boozing as no closing hours to worry about. Uk streets are bad i admit. It can be rough.

U wanna b living where I live where at times where we cant sleep some nights due 2 all the drunks with their screaming, shouting, hollering and not 2 mention all the urinating and defecating in the streets(yes, we have 2 walk over faeces in the street and we never know whether its animal or human at times!!). Our flat/apartment is on a main high street and so we get 2 hear everything!! Then at night we hear all the sirens from all the emergency vehicles!! sad sad sad sad

there are places like that everywhere !

exactly.

nod

I don't really understand all the fuss about it. I think the old drinking times caused a lot of problems, with people rushing to cram as much drink down their necks as possible by 11pm.

I can understand that people living near pubs will be worried, but I think people will be staggering out of pubs at different times so there will be less noise and, hopefully, with people coming out in dribs and drabs there will be less likelihood of fighting.

Let's give it a try I say.

The thing is yes WE do watch the News, but its obvious that my parents dont watch it otherwise they would have told us a whole different story about the UK!!

We have been over here for just over 4 years now and if u lump all the time my husband has worked into one section it would only amount 2 just over 18 months all told in total!!!! Thats not a lot of time 2 save up for our retirement which this country has forced upon us!!! Hell, my husband is only 51 and I am only 47 for crying out loud!!!! Firms only want 2 employ young inexperienced upstarts so that they can pay them less and so hence the employers can keep all the money in profits and commissions 2 themselves!! TOTAL GREED!!!!! They dont want 2 pay higher wages 2 people with experience and more reliability than these young morons!!!

Then not 2 mention that over here in the UK, Christmas starts here in October and doesnt end untill around April/May the following year, so thats a lot of wasted time(which the UK is expert at doing) of unemployment, not 2 mention loss in industry and manufactoring time!!!! The thing is, theres lots of Industrial estates and parks here but really theres nothing coming out of them industrial-wise!!!

Gold with the greatest respect you are talking rubbish, I own a business in the UK and with hard work and commitment this country supports me. I have had to be commited and make sacrifices but i dont expect anything handed to me on a plate. The tax situation here with the right advice does give you opportunities. It is simply a matter of commitment and hard work rather than sitting on your fat ass waiting for someone to give it to you. Hard workers are always wanted and as an employer I take offence at you comment that business owners only think of profit. I employ 7 people and of my 4 engineers 3 of them are experienced guys with 20 yrs in the game. My business grows on the reputation for good work and experinced engineers.
Having said that as a tax payer it would probably cost me less in the long run just to pay for your ticket to go to the US now. wave Seeya
