i just love acrylics...i've never worked with oils... i just like how malluable the colours are and how easy it is to mix... my only problem is how fast they dry (the liquid ones anyway) i'm really comfortable working with acrylics and canvas  i wish i could have a FREE endless supply 2 any size canvas...they're great 2 work with tooAcrylic is my favorite medium too. But some artists swear by it. I would really like to find the time to get back into art. It used to be my passion. | |

how do u make finding different values so easy? like the grayscale is soooo flawless!! (maybe i should get them done professionally? do i just go to like Sears or Walmart to their photo place? or are there actual places that do that stuff?) | |

It's a large pen & ink pointillism drawing...so I control each and every dot you see in the image. Makes those gradients easier to achieve, but it's so damn tedious...lol... And yeah, they have professional photographers who specialize in photographing your art...but you should attempt to do it yourself first. | |

It's about 2 feet by 3 feet...all done completely in dots. | |
