I have relatives in southern Indiana, specifically Evansville. My mom is from there, and my grandma still lives there. I've been there four or five times, and the older I've gotten the less I wanted to go there, especially for longer than maybe 3 or 4 days. There's nothing to see, nothing to do. After I visit with everybody, I'm ready to go. There was talk of moving there, but I was vehemently against it. Would you leave San Francisco to move to Indiana?

No... in 2004 I fled to Seattle, Washington, and was granted asylum. wink As the state's website says, "It’s easy to become a Washington state resident. Just say you want to be a resident and then take some action that proves that you intend to stay." So I took them up on that offer.

Coincidentally, I will be in Indianapolis next week... combination business trip and Thanksgiving vacation.

I'm no longer in Indiana but I plan to return as soon as possible. Then, I will have a party and invite all the Indiana orgers. It will be open party so the people across the state line in Chicago can come too.

indiana is a really depressing place to me. i don't like going there, and i wish everyone would move to another state so i wouldn't have a reason to have to go there. i will admit that there are some beautiful parts of the state, but my life in indiana was more about the dreary places than the beautiful places. i've seen much more beauty since i left.

can we move in with you...smile

My daughter's father moved away and now lives in Texas. he is hell bent on not moving back here and wants me and the kid to move to Texas. He hates it here.

shrug

What part of TX? My husband is from there and talks of moving back. I don't wanna. It's a nice place to visit but...

We'd move to the San Antonio or Austin area.
I'm firmly planted in denial
