it sounds EXACTLY like the robots in Sky Captain, marching through the city! Maybe the neighbours are watching that in surround sound with the sub-woofer on full blast. Only thing is I remember that movie had music in it. I'm not hearing any music, just this booming noise. | |

some construction? I hope so, though it's nearly 9pm and I can't imagine in this quiet piece of suburbia that they'd get away with such a disturbance. Freaky. It has stopped now. I'll never know what it was, unless I fall into some giant footprint craters on my way to the shops tomorrow | |
