So I went to two stripclubs in Minni on Saturday night. One was topless that serves alcohol and the other was full nudity and no alcohol served. The first was totally dead: the women were stiff as a board and them drunk assed men were totally working my nerves.

The second club was better: The women were hot for the most part, really great dancers and such but.....

We we seated for about two minutes when we got approached for lapdances and we keep getting approached every coupla minutes. I don't know why but it was a huge turnoff for me. So my friend said if we went up to sit at the stage, they wouldn't bother us there. We moved BUT.....

Every chick I would tip kept taking my glasses off, turning my baseball cap around and rubbing her boobies in my face and kissing me and such. It made me very uncomfortable and I ADORE boobies. What gave them the right to be touching all on me? One chick saw how big mine were and "DAMN" and grabbed them. What gave her the right to do that? Okay, that part was cool, but the other stuff, why?

I did pay for my friend to get a dance with a beautiful Asian lady and that was definately off the chain.

Dansa, Melissa you both really should have come with me.

I think I gotta give the clubs up. Instead of enjoying myself, I was doing way too much thinking about what was happening. The room full of drunk assed men wasn't not helping either. What part of "you doesn't like you and is just trying to get you to spend your money" don't these cats get? The fact that guys kept trying to touch these women when it's not allowed really fucked with me.

Am I getting too conservative for this stuff?

I've only been to a strip club twice in my life but I didn't really enjoy it either time. The men seemed desperate and the dancers seemed pathetic. Plus I know that for every girl stripping to put herself through college there are 10 who are basically crack-whores and prositutes. On top of the fact that they are expensive as hell and I can think of a million better things to spend my money on.

I like to go when they have stripper wrestling! The Foxy Lady has a sweet ring downstairs. The strippers even have "signature" moves where they will jump off the ropes and wrap their legs around the other girls neck while taking them down!

First let me just say, even though I'm a Cubs fan, I saw your avatar and my hats are off 2 the Sox, and 4 what it's worth, I hope they win it all!

Anyway, I had 2 read further into your post 2 figure out that you're actually a woman, not a man, going 2 a strip club. Quite fascinating 2 me, but I have 2 ask this: What were u expecting when u walked in? Everything u described about this club sounds like any other strip joint 2 me. I don't know if you're getting 2 conservative, but at the same time, if you just want to simply go out with your friends and have a good time without being "approached" so much, maybe a regular bar would suit u better. Now obviously the "drunk assed men" situation may not be a whole lot better, but at least the cover charge is a little cheaper!

But I have 2 say - the mere fact that u went 2 a place like this shows that you're a little more free-minded than most women, and I think that's very cool.

Not a big fan of strip clubs myself. Make no mistake, I like naked women. But I mean, mostly the chicks that dance are gross, the dudes that go there are pathetic, and I work too hard for my money to pay the inflated drink prices or give it to them for whatever it is they do.

Funny you should mention this. Recently a federal judge struck down Seattle's "temporary" moratorium -- almost 20 years old now -- against new strip clubs in the city. (The existing strip clubs were fine with it, as it basically protected them from new competitors entering the market.) In response, the city council passed an ordinance -- by the slimmest possible majority -- that will impose the following requirements on strip clubs:

• No lap dances -- the dancers cannot come within 4 feet of a customer
  
• The clubs must have relatively bright lighting -- "as bright as a parking garage" has been the most common way of describing it
  
• Customers cannot give tips directly to the dancers
  

Yesterday I signed my name on a ballot initiative petition that (if they get enough signatures) will give Seattle voters the opportunity to repeal the ordinance. I've actually never visited one of our city's strip clubs, but as a card-carrying member of the ACLU, I believe that adults should be able to view sexually-oriented entertainment. Furthermore, these requirements are out-of-place in a liberal, tolerant city where most people have a live-and-let-live attitude.

I'm all for naked people, but strip clubs bore me. The types of people who strip (male and female) aren't what I find attractive at all. The guys are all body builder looking, and natural boobs are a rare sight on the women. It's hard to stay interested in a body when it's 99% plastic.

The dancers in European countries are often ported from Eastern European areas, meaning that many of them are extremely attractive as the clubs get to pick from a wide selection of girls. Some of them would be models would they had been born in the country where they are currently working as strippers. That I find quite racist in the end.
