RE:HAPPY BIRTHDAY Peeps today is my Grandmother's 85th B-DAY!!!!! She and my Grandfather took me home from the hosptial at 3 days old and raised me has thier own.
They instilled morals and values in me that make me the great woman that I am today. I can never repay this debt to them except to live a good life, respect others and nature, and always try to do my best. When I recieved my liftime achievment for my AIDS work I thanked them first and foremost. The plaque that bears my name in the AIDS Reflection Garden says.... "All I have is me and my big ideas. I am not afraid of the word NO and as long as I live to fight another day I never say die" I could never have beleived in myself like this if it wasnt for them, esp. HER FANNIE M. THOMAS my Gram-Gram. | |
