I was married to a drunk, and I left him after he punched a hole in our bedroom door in front of my daughter.

I got sick of the excuses and the belligerant scenes. He would become a totally different person after he drank, which was every night. He used to hide it from me.

I would never do it again, given the chance. It was horrible.

Now the guy's with some chick who is on meds for depression (and probably drinks too much as well), and they fight constantly. I think she even tried to commit suicide last month. Crazy, cuz she's got two kids. I feel sorry for the both of them.
