What's up with body odor being on everybody's not-wanted-lists all the time?

I've never ever had sex with anyone with a body odor. Do people really have BO problems to the extent that you have to specify you don't like it? I don't know, cleanliness is something I always just take for granted. Maybe it's a Swedish thing.
