I hope everything goes well for your daughter. I remember the tiles on the emergency room floor vividly. Sometimes all it takes is for the doctor to tell you everything will be fine.

Get some rest Dad, then run to the store for popcicles.
Everything will be all right, after you spoil her for a few days. No More Haters on the Internet.

Awwww It's so hard when your kids (or any kids for that matter) are sick.
Bright side is the ice cream. And with them being removed that should completely end any tonsil problems. (One would think) x 1,000 For your daughter, wife and you. I'm firmly planted in denial

Oh God bless her! Poor thing!
She'll be feeling better in no time! And happy as a clam because she gets to eat tons of icecream! In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Hi guys!!! Mia's back at home right now. It appears that it was a bad case of glandular fever that made her sick. This affected her tonsils as well. They don't want to take her tonsils out as they've never given her any trouble before now....so I guess we just keep an eye on it. She's got antibiotics for the next 8 days and no school. She's going to love that!

I've always loved children. I'm better at dealing with girls than with boys though. I was playing with a friend's five-year-old daughter not long ago. We were assembling little pink and purple plastic rings and necklaces that I had given her (you could put them together in any way you liked, so it was quite creative). Then suddenly her cousin - a hurricane of a boy - came running into the room and started kicking all the little stars and things we had on the floor. Both she and I simultaneously went "Stop it!".

Sorry to hear you daughter's unwell, althom. At least she's got her Mum & Dad looking out for her.. I'm sure she'll be okay in no time. Take care.
