Both movies were great.

Sisterhood was very well written. It's kind of a teenage girls film. (I'm a teenage girl in a 38 year old man's body) I found it very entertaining from the first frame to the last. Oh my God, the GREEK guy is GORGEOUS. OPA!!!!!

Palindromes blew me away. I love all of Solandz films. The only thing that bothers me is that there is always a pedophile in his movies. This movie is about a teenage girl that wants a baby. This girl is portrayed by different actresses. Genius.

I haven't seen either...but wanna see the first...

i thought the big black girl in 'palindromes' was amazing, but other than that, i'm tired of solondz and his bullshit. i'm tired of the 'my little pony' retro-irony, i'm tired of the pedophilia, i'm tired of the woe-is-me teenage girl protagonist, i'm tired basically of seeing the same movie over and over. i wanted to laugh at the christian rock band kids in the basement, but i was like "oh jeez, this kind of humor is so TIRED."

and i hate saying this, because i really loved his first two movies, and i worked really hard to find the good stuff in 'storytelling'. i just think he collapsed under the weight of his own preciousness.
