How did Splenda kick everyone's ass How did Splenda knock out Sweet n' Low, Equal and all other sugar substitutes in just a year or two? Is it just clever marketing? No after taste? It's amazing to me how quickly it caught on.
The last marketing blitz this strong was what... Britney's 'Hit me baby one more time' cd, the 'ipod' craze digtal photography or... ---------------------------------

There's the notion that it's better for you than aspartame or saccharine, at least that's the vibe I get. We know those two can do foul things to your system. Either we don't know the evils of splenda, or there aren't as many. | |

Splenda is recommended for diabetics over any other sugar alternative as it has no aspertame in it!! My husband is diabetic so we have Splenda in the house constantly, so really as theres more and more diabetics now than there ever was that is one reason why it is outselling any other sugar alternative!!
But theres one drawback though!!! Its more expensive than the others!!! | |

It also says that it is derived from sugar...so it appears to be more safe.
