I think loads of candy bars in the UK aren't available elsewhere. And it's very hard to find Hershey's stuff over here. (Which I find very difficult to stomach, I hasten to add in a pompous manner)

Everyone buys the candy that is available in their area. I think a better question would be, do you go out of your way to buy imported candy? Whenever my family travelled to the United States, I would get them to buy Sugar Daddy caramel sticks which we don't have in Canada.

Some times. I like Cadbury quite a bit but they don't sell it as readily here as they do in the UK. I'll likely bring a few extra bars home, if I find something I don't usually see here.

I RARELY buy candy. The last time I did was in Aprilish, when my sisters came to visit (one is a candy hog. She is living in Germany right now and her main goal is to try every piece of candy they make.) I will nibble at candy my parents buy, but I don't really like chocolate a whole lot, plus it's empty calories... so...

No. For the reasons explained above and if I got hooked on one then it's hard to get my hands on it for the rest of the year. Like peppermint bark, or the peppermint ghirardelli bars. But my family buys it so I eat it.

The white chocolate bars by Nestle. Nestle Milk or something? You Brits know what I'm talking about and they don't have it in the US. I love it to death. Second to that are Butterfingers, which you can't find in the UK. It's so annoying.

Along with the Nestle Milk... non-chocolate (well white chocolate isn't really chocolate anyway)... it would have to be the sour candies from Haribo. The cola bottles are good. I also love the sour piggies that marks & spencers make! I ate way too much candy when I lived in London.

Yes. It's maybe 5 miles from my house. It sells candy by the pound and stuffed animals. I used to go there all the time when I was a kid.
