I admit that...

I worry too much. It sucks and is not cool. I hate this aspect of my personality along with my shyness. Are you the same and how do you overcome it? Have you overcome it? redface

I procrastinate rather than worry.

If "X" happens, "Y" might happen but if I force "Y" to happen on my own terms, then "Z" may happen and I'll be okay...

That sort of thing.

It isn't worry, because I'm emotionally detached from the thought process and tend to think of myself in the third-person when doing so.

to overanalyse (sp) everything after a certain point is not healthy... but worrying shows you care and is not something to be ashamed of. I can be oversensitive and try not to be when I feel myself getting that way but at the same time it's part of my personality and those that are close to me can either live with it or not at the end of the day

I don't really worry about things but I'm terribly indecisive and that winds me up about myself.

I worry all the time.

I'm generally shy.

For me, it was the military that gave me steps to overcome shyness , even though I still dislike crowds of people and don't automatically jive with people unless lots of music is playing and I'm drunk.

As for worrying, the only thing that seems to remedy it for me is writing down my goals and taking steps towards them. Gives me some sense of control.

My mom is the same way.....constantly worrying. I think she needs to be on Paxil or Zoloft. Not sayin' there's anything wrong with that, cuz I think I need to be on it at times for nervousness.

It comes in phases. I'm now in a worrying period: I'm trying to find a job but I only get negative responses. Now I start worrying about my competences and when I will finally get a job. The next step is worrying IF I will ever get a job. lol
It's silly but it's true confused

I don't know why, but I practically never worry about anything. Except over emotional stuff, like relations to people I care about.
But that's it really, I never stressed for school and exams, even the oral ones. And now that I've got a job, the stress isn't there either.

You just have to put everything in perspective, to an extreme extent even. Like what the meaning of our lives is in this huge universe. We're all unique and special, and yet we mean so little...

Just have fun in your life. Live your life, and do what you want to. Do at least one thing that makes you respected/loved with a lot of people.
Life's grand, actually smile
