2day, and every wednesday, i have a free day -- noooo classes

there was a bigly HUGELY big poster sale 2day on campus...and they were nice posters too...far nicer than i expected

i bought the following:

Persistence of Memory by Salvador Dali:

Old Guitarist by Pablo Picasso:

Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh:

and
The Scream by Edvard Munch:


i LOVE them all!!

and i bought myself this other poster...photographer unknown...but i bought 2...one for me and one as a late birthday present for my big sister :


i think it's GORGEOUS...the lighting... the skin... it's great being a dark skinned girl i think i might experiment with some photography now...but yeah, my dorm room is looking HAWT now...

man, i miss campus poster sales. my freshman year i got the coolest jumbo lovesexy tour poster ever, with a high contrast black and white picture of prince in his camille drag queen get-up. i think i still have it at my mom's, but it's beat up beyond belief, i'm sure.

those sales were a blast.

I used to love art in school and my room was covered in Manet, Monet and Van Gogh posters.

That drwaing u did is great! i chose art for GCSE i love it. I am always doodling stuff "prince related" i get kids asking me all the time "What is the new translation?" "What the fuck is up with that curly guitar?"

I bought Starry Night at a poster sale at my school last year & it's hanging above my bed right now!

I wish I could find a poster of this painting, The Honorable Mrs. Graham by Gainsborough.



I'm drawn to it, and I dunno why really.

oh god....so many to choose from. I've gotten a few Georgia O'keeffe posters from those sales. I love her stuff.....it's so feminine. They always have those poster sales here too.....good prices.

Very cool! I have nothing on my walls apart from a clock. That will all change soon though as Byron sent me a print when I won the 'How long is a slinky?' competition. I'm going to frame it and hopefully take a pic of it on my wall.

Then I'm going to frame that pic and put it on the wall. After that I'll take a pic of the pic of the print and frame that and put that on my wall!!!!!
