They were rich kids with parents who hadn't brought them up properly or spent any time with them. The school was clueless and more concerned with fancy terminology on their lesson plans and lavish materials than practical, useful teaching. I just wanted to teach them the alphabet, how to read a little, and some basic conversational speaking. In the end they took half of my classes away and gave them to my Thai assistant (who they'd taken out of my lessons, causing havoc), so I just sat in the office doodling. I started only coming in to school for lessons and then going home (which was only 3 minutes away), so it was an easy life, but an ultimately very unsatisfying one.

Now I refuse to teach classes with more than 10 students and won't teach kids under 8 years old.

They're everywhere there's paper, but not on the computer unfortunately. All I did at the school was sit in the office and draw so I did actually come up with some nice materials. If I had a scanner I'd put them on the computer and post them here. Mainly illustrated stories about animals.

I miss the singing in my K3 class. Those kids were only 5, but since they weren't my class and didn't have to keep them in line (I was just helping out with vocab and such) I loved them all!
