Do you ever go on vacation and then come back to your real life and find that you simply can't cope with it? Or that culture shock is kicking you out of the park? I got back Thursday and I'm just spinning in circles. Can't seem to get a grip on myself or my life. It's like my head is on the end of kite string while my body plods in sea of cement (figuratively and literally). Or something like that.

I hate the after vacation reality. It sucks

Ahh, yes, this usually happens when you get that first post-vacation credit card statement.

I don't even have to go anywhere to get this feeling. If I just take a day off to run errands I start plotting how I could survive with no job...maybe make jelly, can preservatives, string pooka beads to sell on the beach...

Vacations have a way of exposing ... or confirming ... some stressors or fault lines in our lives.

All the time! This time next week we will be in Playa del Carmen, Mexico!

I'm cool. Feeling myself settle into my skin a bit more now.

I have felt that way ever since I came back from california.....that was a month ago today

I was very VERY sad to come back after my last vacation. It was so perfect and then bam...back to reality.

I feel like that every Monday morning
