Cold Call tactics

Hello Everyone,

I am usually plagued by cold calls, mainly from mobile phone companies mad

I have tried lots of tactics to get them to leave me alone, sometimes I am polite, sometimes I am a bit rude, and then sometimes I like to have a lil fun too dancing jig

My new tactic is to say that I will get the person they are asking for, but always ask for there name and company they work for first.....then I ask them politly to hold, turn the telly to a blank channel on cable (which always has a tune on revolve) and leave the phone there giggle

I have slowly been compiling a list of the companies that have been calling, (won't mention names) and the companies are genrally different, but the offer the same rolleyes

Do you have any cold call stories, answers to calls or as the caller...

Just thought I would add that I don't have anything against the callers themselves, they are just doing there job after all nod just the organisation of responses I guess....If I say no today, I mean no everyday lol

Just say "I'm sorry the number you have dialed is not in service"...

or say "(fill in the blank) police, can I help you"?

Or say "hey, phone me next year"
