blah i had to go through a binge of that..needless to say i can't stand the smell of that soup anymore..

When I lived in Madison, WI and didn't work for an entire summer I lived off of those and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
A friend of mine worked in a little convenience store that had some decent groceries and once in a while she'd call me up and tell me she was alone for the night and I'd walk down and she'd fill up a bag with fruits and veggies and better food for me. Gosh, she was sweet.

I call them "Roamin' Noodles" cuz when you're up at 3 in the morning roaming the cabinets, they're all you can find to eat. I tried living off of them since i'm poor, for a diva. But now they sicken the shit outta me. I'll take my chances and starve before i eat those anymore.

I'm not sure if any of you are aware of this, but the current emperor of Japan is married to the eldest daughter of the president of Nisshin Flour Milling Company - the makers of Top Ramen (among other ramen products). It was a significant marriage because she was the first "commoner" to be married into the imperial family. According to my father, the emperor was urged to marry outside of the royal gene pool because it was too small and his uncle was crazy due to inbreeding.

An egg dropped into a pot of Top Ramen makes it more nutritious and tastier too.
