If You Know Anything About Wine...

Once again, need some help...lol

I have to pick out a wine "gift basket" to say 'thank you' for some show tickets my brother, sister and I received for free while in Vegas...it was for a Cirque Du Soleil show called "O" (and by the way, there wasn't a single orgasm during the entire show...why they call it "O", I have no idea). The tix are $150 each and we got them for free...great, great show.. nod

Anyhoo, here's the link to the list of wine baskets...

http://www.winecountrygif...706/page/1

Which one would you get? (I think I have to make a decision by tomorrow morning)...I don't know jack about wines, my Yellow Tail experiment was pretty much evidence of that. confused

Any wine experts want to lend me a hand? batting eyes

I would have to say either

Mondavi Sampler Item #751

or the Mondavi Tuscan Renaissance Item #700

and you can't go wrong with a "Bottle of Red, Bottle of White" Item #734

Reincarnate

wow .. they are lovely gifts.

I'd go with either 704 or 792, because you can't go wrong with a cheese/wine gift. I prefer the wine in 704, if that's any help.

714 has a nice selection of Chardonnay, Merlot, and Sauvignon Blanc. Plus wine and cheese... Yummy!

These are great baskets, by the way.

Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect, it means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections... unknown

If its any help, Women tend to lean towards sweeter wines and Men tend to like dryer wines. Kendall Jackson is pretty common, alot of restaurants serve it. I'd avoid any of the baskets with a Zinfandel, only because they're usually too sweet and boring tasting IMO.
