Turn signal - obsolete.

One of my pet peeves concerning driving and operators of motor vehicles is when people neglect to use their turn signals. It's really not that hard. Only a tiny, miniscule fraction of people decide to use that quick, easy hand motion to alert drivers following behind them that they are, in fact, turning.

What is so difficult about using the damn thing? Why do people see fit to be driving 55, slam on the ol' breaks, and jerk the wheel to the left or right?

Today, I was driving home from doing my laundry and managed to get myself behind a Kentucky State Patrol car going around Monument Square in Jamestown. Approximately half of a mile later, the KSP made a left turn. And guess what? That's right. No turn signal. Just quick application of the breaks, and a lefthand turn onto the road behind the bank. Idiot.
Insatiable taught me everything I know about balls.

I absolutely co-sign on this. I think in UT they forget to teach people that, that little lever activates the turn signal. I swear 90% don't use them.

good. nothing quite as annoying as people who quote mad-famous lines from classics and get them wrong, all wrong mr.green

i mean, after all, who among us hasn't read - NAY - memorized these lines from alice' adventure??

the time has come the walrus said
to talk of many things
of shoes and ships and sealing wax
of cabbages and kings
and why the sea is boiling hot
and whether pigs have wings

I use my signal, except when I'm in a left turning lane. That's like re-stating the obvious. Also, if I'm way ahead of the cars behind me and I'm switching lanes, I don't bother.
