Like he needs any introduction.....I swear that was one of the funkiest shows i ever had the pleasure of hearing. it may even have rivaled a Musicology show or two.

I'm so glad i got to meet these guys. too bad i also had to see another non-org friend but it was so much fun anyway. The Frog is a funny dude and Natisee really is the most genuinely sweet human i have ever met!!!

Also there was Redfeathers and 'Nana (only at the pub tho).

If we had a house you could do a slide show.

Hmmm... Maybe it's a good thing we don't have a house...

Nice pix, glad everybody had a great time. Did Maceo Parker play and play and play non-stop? The reason for the question is that during one of the celebratons, Maceo played one night at Paisley Park non-stop, one song after the other. Didn't think he was ever going to quit, you could tell he was enjoying himself up there.

i think he may have stretched the songs a bit as well.

Not surprising. Maceo seems to like to jam on the same song for an extended period of time.

Agreed! Funny story about the time I saw Maceo playing at Paisley Park: My friends and I were standing there watching Maceo just play and play and play (for hours!). I was tired that night, and I was really getting sick of seeing Maceo, I wanted to see Prince play, dammit! Finally, I got so pissed that I hollered out, "Sit down!!!" at Maceo. My friends looked at me in total shock, then busted out laughing. I was like, "I'm serious, I came to see Prince play, not this idiot!" Funny what a lack of sleep can do to a person, but my friends were shocked at me that night. What's even funnier is that when I was telling this story to another friend who was also at Paisley Park that night (but not with me), she said that she heard me holler "Sit down!!!" My voice is loud and it really carries.
