wrath of Children in the supermarket

Yes.. So I had this discussion the other day. I work in one and hate every min of it. There is nothing worth than somebody who brings their kids to the fucking store and doesn't keep an eye out for them. They let them run through the store like untamed wild fucking zoo animals. When and if they knock something over or brek it they want nobody more to blame then you or somebody in the store that is just there to earn some fucking money. EVIL EVIL WRATH OF CHILDREN IN SUPERMARKETS we must put a stop to it! lmfao

i used to work at blockbuster and it was the same thing there. parents just letting their children wander around the store unnatended to mess up displays or to wander into the horror section and have nightmares for a week. and the people that always annoyed me most were the parents who would come in at 11:30 at night with their children on a school night! what is wrong with these people?

I agree on this, to a certain extent. It bugs me that some parents seem to think their children should be free to run around and cause havoc in stores.

I like to see children having fun and enjoying themselves but it annoys me when parents aren't supervising their children to the extent where they don't know where they are or allow them to run into people. I don't think we live in a world where we can allow ourselves to not know where our young ones are and what they're up to.

I work at my aunty's boutique and she gets MAJORLY pissed when some stuck up tarts let their kids loose to put shit all over the clothes. But that is MAJORLY annoying, that not even their mothers have respect for someone else's property, or good clothes neutral

I would have to agree with all you. After going into Supermarkets and seeing the awful behavior that I've seen, I would say that the terminolgy that you used domesticaly wild just about sums it up. Some of these of these parents need not to bring their child in public.

are 'kids today' becoming more and more out of control or is it me? things were very different when i was growing up. rowdy behavior from kids was simply not tolerated....

maybe it's the passive parenting style these days....not enough spankings, I guess. shrug That'll scare em'....scared me into being a little angel lol When I was little if I had acted up in store like some kids today....a belt would've been waiting on me at the house.

I agree.
When you see me with my kids in the supermarket, hardware store or whatever, my kids are in check. Why? Because I'm not afraid to smack a bottom or two if they start acting like animals. You can't reason with a 3 year-old. The only way to keep him/her from running into a power saw and getting 80 stitches is to threaten him/her with a spanking.

When I was a child my cousin and I used to punch holes in the toilet paper packages and get a kick out of asking the stockers where the prophylatics were. giggle

When I see kids like that, I trip them when their parents aren't looking, and then giggle fiendishly.

sad I am just about to set off for the supermarket with 3 boys under 5. I have no choice, it's that or no food today. I am a nervous wreck by the end if the kids play up, which is every now and then, usually they are good and I can enlist their help to find stuff. One time they hung on the side of the trolley and it tipped over on them, so now I just have to remind them of the incident and they won't do it again because it hurt.

Apparently, the word around here is that you are supposed to beat them senseless if they step out of line. neutral
