Are there any things that you do quite frequently that you always forget how to do when it comes time to do them again?

I'll start.

- I change my bed sheets once a week and put on fresh ones, and I always forget which corners to start with. I always try to follow the seem, but I forget which way the seem is supposed to go. I just had this problem.

- Whenever a pricing gun at work runs out of little sticky price tags, I always forget how to reload it.

lol sometimes at work i forget shit but ya cant blame me i work from 11pm-7 am so..

Here's another one.

- I always forget how to use "lay/lie/laid/lied" and so on in a sentence, no matter how many times N. goes through the proper way for me. And then I have to ask again. And then he annoyedly goes through the formula. And then I forget it promptly afterwards.

Yes ! When using my toaster...I can never remember if I put the toast in the toaster or if I turn the toaster upside down and put it over the bread.
